This tournament has been popular with 45 Club members for many years. The Hotel Eurotennis is a delightful location, with all the bedrooms overlooking the courts and the sea. Most of the play is on astroturf. Court time is available for social play. For those preferring to make their own flight bookings kindly note that Sylvia will make the hotel bookings and tournament entries for you if you so wish.

This is an exceptionally well organised, strong clay court tournament. The tournament offers singles and doubles in all age groups as well as mixed doubles and is held on the courts at the hotel and at other local centres. The hotel offers very good value accommodation and food.

This will be a first for the 45 Club. A 2-centre holiday in Cuba, comprising 3 nights in historic Havana, then 7 nights at the Paradisus Varadero all-inclusive 5 star beach resort in Varadero.

Following successful visits held every other year, here is another opportunity to visit Southern Spain before Easter, for a week of tennis and social entertainment. A two-day mixed doubles tournament will be played at the well-known Don Carlos Hotel, Marbella with its excellent clay courts, followed by an inter-club match at El Casco, Marbella, again on the clay. A men’s/ladies’ doubles tournament will be held on the last day at the Campo de Tenis Lew Hoad, Fuengirola using their Plexicushion courts. This will be followed by a farewell dinner. There will be time for relaxation and evenings out in various restaurants.

In 2007 over 50 members enjoyed a glorious week at this Grade 1 tournament. A lovely location, excellent hotel, superb food + tennis makes this a major event in the 45 Club calendar.

Pending the tournament dates being announced provisional bookings will be accepted and will give priority on flight and hotel reservations.

The number of ITF Veteran ranking points at stake determines the Category of a tournament. Category 3 has more than Category 4, so can be expected to be of a higher standard. Category 2 is higher still.
